World of Warcraft: Patch 6.0.2 The Iron Tide is Live in EU Realms!!!

The Dark Portal has finally turned red today. The Iron Incursion event has begun. Participating in the event will reward the players with an achievement achievement which rewards title "of The Iron Vanguard" and an Iron_Starlette_pet pet.

There will also be lvl 90 UBRS with ilvl 550 loot. However, your character's ilvl must be 510 or above to enter the instance.

Don't forget that this event is available till the Warlords of Draenor release on November 13.

Prepatory patch to Warlords of Draenor expansion is going live on October 14(NA) and October 15(EU). \o/ New skills, gameplay mechanics and lots of changes will be here and also lots of things will be gone forever like challenge dungeons, valor points, commendation badges, brawler's guild season 1, couple of achievements, etc...

Here take a look at what will get scrapped from the game with the patch

 Story

At this point, the Dark Portal has already been activated. It is now visually different - turns red instead of the usual green color- .Iron Horde passed through the portal and invaded Azeroth. In Blasted Lands both Okril'lon and Nethergarde has fallen to the invaders which will propel the Horde and Alliance leaders to get their armies ready to fight with the Iron Horde on Draenor. Iron Horde did not stop at Blasted Lands and also marched to Blackrock Mountains. In Blackrock Mountains, they took refuge in Upper Blackrock Spire.

 

 Limited-Time Event

There will be a limited-time 5 player (only to level 90 characters) version of Upper Blackrock Spire where we will face bosses Orebender Gor'ashan, Kyrak and Commander Tharbek.
